We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with strong technical solutioning expertise. This role requires someone who understands how to design, develop, and propose technical strategies to meet organizational needs. While this is not a coding role, the architect will be deeply involved in defining and guiding technical solutions across teams.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the overall Enterprise Architecture strategic plan, developing and promoting standards, frameworks, and guidelines.
  • Analyze complex business and technical problems, recommending innovative technology solutions and strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable architecture and design.
  • Prepare and review architecture/design documentation, technical approaches, and system diagrams.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams, ensuring alignment with architecture standards and best practices.
  • Review solutions for performance, scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure architectural solutions meet regulatory and security standards.
  • Participate in performance testing, profiling, and tuning of applications to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Communicate complex technical and operational solutions in simple business terms for leadership stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years total IT experience, with 3+ years as an Architect.
  • Strong expertise in Microservices Architecture.
  • Mastery in at least one language: Java, Golang, or Python.
  • AWS Cloud experience (mandatory).
  • Solid background in security and privacy principles.
  • Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure automation).
  • Skilled at creating system representations using UML or C4 diagrams.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of guiding technical teams and presenting to executive stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile/JIRA best practices.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards (OpenID, SAML, OAuth, JWT, X.509, mTLS).
  • Familiarity with architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Exposure to service mesh, TechRadar practices, mobile technologies, OCPP protocol, and machine learning models.
  • Strong understanding of distributed system design principles.
