Golang Job Details

Technical Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience (senior-level candidate required)

  • Strong knowledge of at least 2 out of 4 core languages: .NET, Java, Golang, Node.js (Major repositories are in .Net so that is most preferred)

  • Expertise in JavaScript/Angular for frontend work.

  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, AWS (S3, Fargate, Lambda).

  • Strong PostgreSQL & SQL scripting experience.

  • Exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus.

  • Prior experience with Capital One is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Proven deployment experience is plus (not just environment setup must have done actual deployments)

  • Experience working with GitHub moving repositories, command-line tools

  • Scripting experience in nice to have.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Migrate GitHub repositories using internal tools (UI and command-line)

  • Ensure deployment works properly after migration

  • Troubleshoot issues in the new environment

  • Use AWS scripts and internal automation for deployments

  • Work in the BankTech line of business, supporting commercial lending tech initiatives
