Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Golang Developer to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will be experienced in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Go (Golang). This is an onsite position requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Frontend Developers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable microservices and APIs using Golang

• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software

• Integrate with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and CI/CD pipelines

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members

• Debug production issues and provide timely resolutions

• Work closely with QA to ensure quality deliverables

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Golang development

• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS (S3, Lambda, ECS, etc.)

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments

• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

• Experience with version control systems such as Git

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
