Golang Job: SDET

Robert Half is looking for a skilled SDET for our client's team in San Francisco, California. The quality engineers will assist in strategizing the testing plan for platform rollout to new members. They will also build and execute these tests using their existing testing framework. The team will closely collaborate with multiple teams to thoroughly test the features end to end to ensure a smooth rollout of new features.

• Ability to comprehend complex distributed systems, including modular monoliths and microservice architectures.
• Clearly understand and be able to test various failure scenarios in a distributed system.
• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a proactive interest in identifying edge cases.
• Experience in writing automated tests (proficiency in Ruby/Golang is nice to have).
• Understand and leverage existing in-house testing frameworks at Chime.
• Be able to collaborate effectively with product owners, team leads, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive test scenarios.
• Be able to audit and identify testing gaps in existing end-to-end tests, proposing and implementing improvements.
• Possess a strong understanding of CI/CD and have hands-on experience with continuous deployment processes.
• Be able to define and measure meaningful quality metrics and report test coverage.
• Experience in manual, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Be able to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of the product's quality throughout the migration project.
• Able to validate data pipelines, identify data anomalies, and define data quality metrics for large data migrations
