About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Golang Developer with a passion for building distributed systems to join our remote team. As a Golang Microservices Developer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend applications using Go. You will work collaboratively in a remote environment to contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

Golang Development:

• Develop, test, ship, maintain, and operate production-ready code and systems using Go.
• Implement clean, efficient, and maintainable Go code.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.

Microservices Architecture:

• Design and develop microservices based on best practices.
• Build highly distributed and scalable systems with a deep understanding of microservice principles.

Full-Stack Development:

• Experience developing full-stack applications with databases and APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration.

Networking and Systems Software:

• Possess a solid understanding of basic networking concepts and the OSI model.
• Have experience in developing network software systems (a plus).

Remote Work:

• Thrive in a remote work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members through various channels.
• Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and the ability to clearly communicate intent.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with gRPC for building robust distributed and high-demand systems.
• Experience with Temporal Workflows (temporal.io) for orchestrating long-running business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Golang development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with distributed systems and scalability principles.
• Experience with databases and APIs for full-stack development.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
