- Develop Automated test equipment for our revolutionary drive unit, battery pack and supercharging production lines
- Develop novel, highly efficient re-useable software technology for teamwide adoption
- Collaborate with electrical, firmware and mechnical product design engineers throughout product life cycle (from prooduct inception to mass production)
- Deploy scalable softwate solutions that accelerate our transition to sustanability
- Interact with majority of Tesla products to the point of product expertise
- Optimize overall equipment efficiency of our machinery, maximizing production throughout
- Directly impact product time to makret with high internal visibility resulting in high risk, high reqard scenarios
- Travel to different facilities across the world to deploy automated manufacturing solutions
- Produce quality results in record time
- Self-driven engineer capable of solving complex problems with a proactive mindset
- Experienced in Linux operating system and command line
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or quivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability
- Proficient in system-level languages such as Golang, C, C++ or rust
- Fluent in software fundamentals including architecture design, backend infrastructure, code modualarity and maintainability
- familiar with modern distributed system technologies such as: Docker Kubernetes, Kafka Grafana
- Mentorship experience working with junior developers is a plus
- Being familiar with hardware communication protocols is a big plus: GRPC, Modbus, MQTT, Thernet/IP
