Preacta are on the lookout for multiple SRE’s to join one of our awesome E-Commerce clients for a long-term contract.
Day to Day tasks will include:
  • Work closely with Architects and Engineers to design, build, deploy, manage and operate environments
  • Embed observability into all aspects of the application ecosystem
  • Evaluate all platform and service consumption to optimise costs and capacity
  • Review changes to applications for risk to ensure availability targets are met
  • Respond to major incidents during rostered on-call periods to assist in remediation and identify areas of improvement
Skills and Experience needed include:
  • Strong experience establishing SRE capabilities to meet the demand of multiple teams or business units
  • Strong experience implementing SRE practices in multiple teams and influencing stakeholders to prioritise reliability in their product roadmap
  • Strong experience in automating manual processes and working with operations engineers to establish incident response procedures
  • 4+ years on GCP/Azure
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Powershell, Bash, C#, .NET Core, NodeJS, GoLang
  • Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies
  • Hands on experience with Kubernetes in production
  • Observability - App Insights, Dynatrace, Azure Log Analytics, Google Cloud Monitoring
