Golang Job: Tech Lead

What is PackBack?
The 900.000.000 take-out meals and 3.000.000.000 take-out coffees we consume every year in The Netherlands result in a lot of waste. PackBack solves this waste problem by developing a nationwide reusable packaging system. With this solution you can return your ‘reusables’ through a deposit system. Together we will make an end to single-use packaging!

And we need your help! We are looking for a skilled tech lead that will further scale up our digital products and can lead PackBack’s dev team

Who are we looking for?

• You like to use your technical skills to make a positive impact.
• You love to work independently in a dynamic environment and you can cope well with last-minute changes.
• You are open to new ideas and you like to experiment with new frameworks and technologies.
• And you’re able to translate business demands into technical requirements.

What skills are we looking for?

• You have proven experience in leading a dev team.
• You have proven agile/scrum experience to facilitate sprints and scrum ceremonies.
• You have knowledge of Typescript and/or Javascript.
• You have knowledge of software architecture (e.g. microservices), Restful API’s and Javascript frameworks like Vue or React.
• You have experience with PostgreSQL.
• And it would be great if you also have some experience with Golang and if you have experience with IoT projects
