ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be part of a Canada-based team working remotely with a leading US scale-up. Your team will operate alongside many other talented developers and data scientists in Canada, and you will be an integral part of the tech community that MobSquad has built. You will be working with a team responsible for building a platform to address customer regulatory, compliance, and risk concerns.
ABOUT YOU

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field from an accredited institution
• You have over eight (8) years of software development experience, including at least one of the following: Go, Java, and/or Python
• You have over eight (8) years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed systems
• You have strong knowledge of computer science and programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design best practices)
• You have experience designing and building a platform to address critical compliance and regulatory challenges of building digital asset products - KYC, Onboarding, AML and risk management
• You have experiencing owning the design, coding, testing, and deployment of key proprietary software components of tokenized commodities platforms
• You have experience scaling transaction processing systems to service millions of customers
• You have experience developing distributed microservices in Go
• You have an understanding of concepts such as load balancing, HA/failover, ingress, inter-service communications in a microservices style cluster, idempotence, ACID, guaranteed delivery, etc.
• You have experience with online web application architectures and infrastructures, including clustering (Kubernetes), containerizing (Docker), message queuing (MQ / Kafka), telemetry/instrumentation (Prometheus/Grafana)
