Work you’ll do as a DEVOPS Sr. Consultant

The primary role of a Sr. Consultant is to be responsible for managing specific sub- work stream (or sub-modules) within a broader project. Sr. Consultants and Consultants on engagements report into the team lead/ manager and are responsible for end to end delivery of the sub-work stream allocated to them.

The responsibilities of DEVOPS Sr. Consultant should include:

• Experience with cloud services providers (AWS/MS Azure/Google Cloud)
• Experience with versioning systems (Gitlab, Bitbucket) & Build Tools (Maven, ant etc)
• Hands-on experience with Pipelines and Deployment tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket Pipelines, Azure DevOps etc)
• Understanding of Containerization concepts (Docker/Hyper-V/LXC/Podman)
• Implimenting web servers for various needs (Apache2/Nginx/Tomcat)
• Scripting Languages (Bash, Powershell) as well as sysadmin for Linux/Windows

machines.

• Familiarity with services, as well as Code Coverage tools (Sonaqube, Jacoco)
• Provide innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Participate in knowledge sharing activities.
• Ability to create industry standard CI/CD solutions for requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• This role involves extensive travel

Good to have skillsets

• Container Orchestration Tools (Kubernetes/Openshift/Helm)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure As Code Tools (Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack)
• Experience in one or more test automation tools (junits, selenium, cucumber)
• Exposure to a backend programming language (NodeJs, Java, python, Golang etc)

Sr. Consultant: 6+ years of experience

Professional Qualification - B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA/MS
