We have a fantastic opportunity for a senior software engineer to join our exciting mission and develop new greenfileds products and capabilities for our platform. You’ll join our small team, where you will work together on interesting and complex technical projects for our state-of-the-art platform. You will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and make a big impact on the architecture and implementation of our software.

The type of work you can get involved in:

  • Work with product owners and engineers to design and develop technical solutions for new features
  • Build state-of-the-art web-based tools that lets our users develop and manage their actuarial and mathematical models and projects
  • Create scalable back-end infrastructure and services for real-time data aggregation and high-performance computation
  • Refine and improve engineering processes — we have an environment that fosters the sharing of ideas.

Requirements:

  • Exposure to technologies such as React, Node.js, and Typescript
  • Understanding of development methodologies such as Agile, Kanban, and Scrum
  • Working knowledge of version control and source code management (specifically git)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team or autonomously on your own

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (ideally AWS)
  • Exposure to Python and Golang
  • Knowledge of maintaining and deploying microservices

The salary range is approximately USD$90,000 - $120,000 per annum based on full-time employment. Please keep in mind this is just a range, and the actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors. Candidates must have the right to work in the US.
