Golang Job: Performance Test Engineer

• 3+ years of experience in end-to-end performance testing life cycle.
  
• Hands on Experience with Industry Standard Load Testing Solutions like Jmeter, LoadRunner or Neoload.
  
• Hands on Experience with Industry Standard APM such as New Relic/App Dynamics/Introscope/Dynatrace.
  
• Good Understanding of: Web Based Applications and Technologies, JVM and Garbage collection algorithm, Middleware and Database related concepts and Operating System level metrics.
  
• Problem-solving and analytical skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies.
  
• Basic Knowledge of working in Cloud Environment.
  
• Good Understanding and experience with agile software development methodologies.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interact with application teams to discuss Performance testing scope and gather NFRs and SLA's.
  
• Able to convert requirements into performance strategy with a plan.
  
• To develop test scripts using Performance Testing Tool to generate load.
  
• To derive WorkLoad Models for various types of Web Applications to match production load.
  
• Execute Load Tests as per plan, monitor the system health during load and provide detailed report.
  
• Look into Infrastructure and Application Metrics to identify potential bottlenecks or to identify areas of concern.
  
• Benchmark the capacity that can be handled by the system.
  
• Develop Results/Reporting format specific to target Audience.
  
• Proactively engage and communicate other teams when needed.
  
• Participitate in production issues for quicker resolution.

• Scripting experience with Jmeter, Locust, OATS [Must is Jmeter]
• Experience with Web/http, UI, REST, and SOAP [Must]
• Programming: C, Java, Python, Spring-boot, GoLang(learning stage) [Must is Java]
• Scripting: Shell scripting and terraform (learning stage). [Must is Shell Scripting]
• Cloud and Dockers: AWS, OCI, Kubernetes, Mesos [Must GCP or AWS]
• Monitoring Tools: Grafana, NewRelic [Must]
• Profiling Tools: MAT, JFR, JvisualVM. [Any profiling tools]
• Operating systems: Linux Karnal, Windows. [Must: Linux]
