- You will serve in a technical role inside a DevSecOps program focused on developing the next generation of cloud native platforms for a government customer. This role is intended to support not only the ability to manage operations underway, but architect a platform with reliability at its core.
- In this role you will work directly with technical leadership and product owners to shape and build a cloud-native pathway for applications in the DoD.
- You will work with the team to establish an open architecture approach and a strategic path to continuously improving the functionality, efficacy, and security of Kubernetes offerings across the platform.
- This role is not building from scratch but rather innovating on previous efforts designed to reduce the red tape and allow for focus on platform innovation and growth within an ecosystem to support its future.
- This role requires availability to work EST hours.
- 3 to 5 years of experience deploying software into a production SaaS environment.
- Previous experience building a SaaS product using Cloud CI/CD tools like CircleCI, Concourse, ArgoCD, etc.
- Understanding of FedRAMP compliance needs is considered a plus.
- 3+ years of experience with deploying and supporting a SaaS offering.
- 1+ years of Cloud migration experience
- 1+ years of experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes clusters in a public, scalable SaaS offering.
- 1+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or 3+ years in a DevOps environment.
- 3+ years development experience (Golang / NodeJs / bash / etc.).
- 3+ years of experience with each of the following:
- Cloud Infrastructure with an emphasis on Azure (Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Google Cloud Platform (GCP) a plus)
- Bug tracking (JIRA / Bugzilla / YouTrack / etc.)
- Continuous Deployment (concourse / GitHub Actions / Spinnaker / etc.)
- Source control (github / gitlab / etc.)
- Metrics & Tracing (Grafana / Prometheus / Jaeger / OpenTelemetry / OpenTracing / etc.)
- Proactive and strong ability to learn new things with limited guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and with cross-functional technical and business teams.

What You'll Do Here
RevaComm DevOps Engineers are responsible for designing and implementing DevOps solutions on various cloud services to automate, secure, and test applications that RevaComm builds and deploys. The DevOps Engineer should be proficient with cloud infrastructure and deployments as well as containerization, CI/CD, automated scaling and security in relation to DevOps as well as be able to understand large data architectures and IT systems. They must be eager to learn new things to ensure systems meet a risk management threshold. You got this if you are someone that gets things done and are not afraid of challenges. Our DevOps pipeline manages the code we create that serves the DoD, banks, healthcare, state, local and federal government, along with their customers.
