Golang Job Details
Based in Montreal, Canada, Anyon Systems develops turn-key quantum computing products to enable the next revolution in high-performance computing. We are a team of passionate individuals dedicated to making the quantum revolution a reality. Building quantum computers is a team effort and requires varying expertise. At Anyon, each person brings something unique to the team.
We focus on value creation and always align our work with our long-term vision. Team members are exposed to diverse problems and challenges requiring self-learning and constant improvement. We maintain and uphold a high-quality standard amongst ourselves through frequent discussions and reviews and always push each other to be better.
The Role
Our Quantum team designs the quantum chips. With its experience in the control of quantum systems, it is also the Quantum team’s responsibility to calibrate, characterize and optimize the performance of our quantum processors. Our software team is responsible for developing the complete software stack from cloud to control electronics.
Qubit calibration sits at the intersection of quantum design and software development and is a critical step in ensuring quantum computers can produce results with high fidelity. We are looking for a talented and hard-working individual to work on qubit calibration. You will be responsible for software aspects involved in modeling a quantum system and developing optimization algorithms involving Machine Learning. In this role, you will interact with quantum physicists and quantum software engineers to develop, as a team, a working tool for automatic qubit calibration. Your work will draw on and extend your capabilities in qubit control (measurement and readout), qubit calibration, Machine Learning, and software development.
You must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with fellow team members, present ideas and results in technical presentations, and contribute to written reports.
