Golang Job: Lead DevOps Engineer

Note: We are hiring only US Citizens on 1099 and W2.
Position: Lead DevOps Engineer
Location: %100 Remote
Client: DXC/Delta Dental Insurance
Project Description:

• Migration of applications from Linux VMs to Kubernetes on Azure Cloud (AKS).
• There are 65 applications that need to be evacuated to the cloud. During such migration applications should become cloud-ready with all modern Azure services replacing legacy components (ACR, AKV, App Gateway, Sentinel, Policies, etc).
• Azure infrastructure should be managed via Terraform with CI/CD migrated to Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities:

• Create Azure IaC using terraform with modules
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications
• Consult DEV teams regarding Azure services

Skills Must have:

• Kubernetes (basic workload types and RBAC)
• Microsoft Azure (AKS, ACR, AKV, App Gateway, and all foundational services - compute, networking, storage)
• Working with Linux containers (Prepare, Build, Run)
• Bash scripting
• Experience with any pipelines as a code tool

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Terraform
• Helm
• Coding: HTML&CSS/JavaScript/Golang

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Kubernetes: 5 years (Preferred)
• Azure: 6 years (Preferred)
• linux MVs: 6 years (Preferred)
• code tools: 4 years (Preferred)
