As we continue our quest to democratize financial services, Zettle's Platforms Alliance is on the lookout for a passionate engineer to join our Platform ServicesTeam.

The skills to succeed

As a member of the Platform Services team you would be jointly responsible for the day to day operations of our infrastructure systems and everything “platform” that allow millions of transactions to flow through our system every day.

As a member of the wider platform area you would be able to make a difference in a more general direction around shared DevOps domains between the platform teams such as infrastructure and monitoring and collaborate on POC work and larger projects.

Besides, everything is hosted on AWS and our infrastructure is defined in Terraform (we are using both continuous integration and deployment).

With that in mind, we think that the following skills and know-how would greatly help you to be successful in this role:

• Strong understanding of AWS
• Be able to write clean code in a language or two to create tooling (Python, Golang or Java)
• A passion to automate away repetitive tasks and increase efficiency.
• Experience with docker
• Experience in CI/CD systems
• Have some programming background (Python, Golang or bash)
• A passion to automate away repetitive tasks and increase efficiency.

• Extolls the behaviors and understanding associated with 'DevOps' and 'SRE'
• Understands the developer perspective of platforms/systems
• Good collaboration skills
