At the moment, we have an opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), 100% remote.
What does the Job and Candidate Profile look like?
Responsibilities:
Work together with our development, engineering and operations team to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures;
Build and develop code to manage infrastructure platforms and applications using IaC (Infrastructure as Code);
Improve the reliability, quality and time to market of our solutions software;
Measure and optimize system performance, with the aim of boosting our capabilities, anticipating customer needs and innovating for continuous improvement;
Gather and analyse metrics from operating systems and applications to assist in fine-tuning performance and fault detection;
Participate in systems design consultancy, managing platforms and planning the capacity;
Create sustainable systems and services through automation and improvements;
Balancing the speed and reliability of the development of new features of according to service level objectives;
Develop all code standards (modules, scripts, etc) to be used by developers or implementers.
Preferred Experience:
5 years of experience in architecture, design, development, deployment and maintenance of complex solutions and applications in Cloud platforms;
Knowledge of best practices and integration (DevOps experience) of the topic above;
Resource management: Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc;
Configuration management: Vagrant, Terraform, Ansible, etc;
Programming languages (structured and object-oriented): Java, C/C++, Ruby, GoLang, Python, JavaScript, etc;
CI/CD: such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions;
Distributed storage: CIFS, NFS, HDFS, Ceph, S3, Azure Storage, etc;
Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc (at least one of them);
Good English level, Spanish is a plus.
