8x8 is seeking a Backend Developer that strives for self-improvement by seeking new technologies and methodologies on a daily basis. The Backend Developer will use their experience, knowledge, and learnings from previous projects to deploy dependable solutions. Design patterns, documentation, instrumentation, security, and automation are all part of a timely and dependable deployment strategy.

New projects include the following technologies:

    • Java/Spring, Python/Pyramid, Golang
    • Redis, Mysql, Postgres
    • Kinesis, Kafka, RabbitMQ
    • Wavefront, Prometheus/Grafana
    • Salesforce
    • Rest, gRPC

      • At 8x8, employee career development is a priority. One on one management consultations, architectural discussions, interfacing with Product Managers and knowledge sharing are all part of this process.

      Candidates with these characteristics and experience with project technologies will be given preference.
      A must-have: Technical background (Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject)
