Kubernetes admin/engineer

100% Remote - Prefer CST time zone

Straight contract – 12 months

Only w2 – NO SUBCONTRACTING

Need: open to a mid-level and a senior level resource

- Looking for a Kubernetes Engineer/Admin

- Not looking for DevOps candidates, needs specific Kubernetes focus

D2D: prefers CT time zone

- Team hosts internal cloud platform for Client’s customers

o Internal cloud platform based off of GCP

- Python/Golang automation work for monitoring purposes

o There are scripts in place that will be used for monitoring

o Need solid experience to run with scripts in place and eventually write in the future

- Eventually will move all old Legacy products in RedHat OpenShift and Linux platforms into cloud

Top Skills:

- Kubernetes Administration/Engineering

- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform Integration

- Python or Golang

Background:

- Previous Administration or Engineering in Kubernetes

- Public Cloud platform experience

- Monitoring: Grafana & Prometheus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Google Cloud Platform: 1 year (Required)
• Kubernetes: 1 year (Required)
• AWS: 1 year (Preferred)
• Azure: 1 year (Preferred)
