About the role

You will be responsible for continuously improving the security posture and practices of Reece’s applications, development pipelines and security tooling.

This position supports software development and delivery teams, in collaboration with enterprise security. The position will focus on implementing and maintaining security tooling, automation, processes and providing engineering teams with security mentoring and advice.

Skills and experience for this role:

• Experience working with Linux-based platforms and custom-built software.

• Strong technical skills applying a platform-based approach, providing tooling and processes to engineering teams.

• Experience operating and developing containerised workloads.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and source control management.

• Experience mentoring or leading other engineers.

• Experience with public clouds such as AWS, GCP or Azure.

• Experience with infrastructure as code and orchestration, such as CloudFormation, Terraform, etc…

• Experience in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, Golang, or equivalent.

• Experience deploying, managing and running security tooling (build time scanning and validation, DAST, SAST, SCA, runtime scanning and validation, vulnerability scanning, IAM review).
