This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for you to be at the forefront of technology evolution. Joining a market-leading online platform who have millions of customers across the world, you'll be leading a team making the move from legacy .Net code to Go.
You'll be crafting scalable, high-performance distributed media systems. Go is perfect because it enables these systems to serve concurrent users, also allowing for seamless streaming and maximum website uptime.
We understand that Go is still growing in popularity, and you may not have 10 years' experience! In fact, you may have been working with Go for a couple of years. If you've found it straightforward to pick up and feel you can mentor non-Go Developers, we'd like to speak with you.
You'll bounce off a peer group of Senior Developers and Architects who are also skilled in Go. You'll be the first Go specialist in this particular Development Team, which we'd like you to help grow.
Your team is really down-to-earth and focused on delivering extremely high quality code within an inclusive culture. You'll enjoy the face-to-face nature - this is important because you'll be helping coach and develop the team.
We're hiring because our customer continues to grow exponentially, at a global scale. They have a strong staff retention rate. This is because they have an established structure which recognises and rewards performance. It's also because of significant investment in tech and variety of projects.
You'll enjoy working within an informal environment where Developers can't afford to get tied down with bureaucratic processes or meetings about meetings.
£70k salary with lucrative bonus on offer. Great benefits package, too.
