Member of Tanzu Technical Staff - Opportunity for Working Remotely

Job Description:

• Come join the Tanzu Build packs team and help us build the next generation of tools for creating container images at-scale for the world’s largest enterprises utilizing open source technologies.
• Customers struggle to build containers from source code ground up. It is a challenge to maintain and secure container images.
• Tanzu Open Source and Commercial Build packs helps customers build, maintain, update portable OCI images and helps boost security and reduce risk from introducing CVEs.

• Experience writing Golang
• Experience writing automated tests, preferably TDD
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies
• Experience using Kubernetes and other container orchestrators for deploying applications
• Experience with Docker or other container runtimes
• DevOps or DevSecOps experience
• Additional Qualifications:
• Experience using build packs or other container build tools (e.g. Dockerfile, kaniko, buildkit, jib, s2i, ko)
• Prior contributions to open source products
• Experience using PaaS products like Cloud Foundry or Heroku for deploying applications
