The Role

We are seeking a Client Support Engineer to provide technical support to our Operations Support team throughout all phases of engagement with the Akoya Data Access Network.

  • Serve as first line support engaging with Akoya clients, conducting initial triage and trouble-shooting
  • Handle escalated technical support issues as needed
  • Quarterback support issues, serving as the point of contact when escalating issues internally and working with internal stakeholders
  • When remediation is required, work with product development team to clearly communicate detailed technical requirements
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Akoya's developer portal, documentation, data mapping and use cases
  • Interface with customer technical teams to:
    • Gather and assess problems, conduct joint remediation and escalation pathing
    • Address customer's questions in a comprehensive manner to ensure customer satisfaction and understanding of the Akoya DAN
    • Communicate effectively, clearly and comprehensively with clients

Required Experience/skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency in Java with exposure and use of JavaScript (NodeJS), Python, Golang
  • Must have strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must have knowledge of Restful JSON APIs. You will be responsible for debugging integration issues with Clients
  • Must have hands-on experience with Delegated Authorization Frameworks (OAuth, OIDC, SAML) and exposure setting up SSO
  • Knowledge of how networking concepts (DNS, proxies, firewalls, CDNs, etc.)
  • Proficient in use of CSS, browser compatibility, and pre- and post-processors
  • Learning and adopting new concepts and technologies quickly and implement them effectively

Preferred Experience/skills

  • Cloud technology experience, preferably AWS – a plus
  • Experience working in a fintech environment – a plus

Able to support an on-call rotation
