Golang Job: Remote Go-GoLang Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Go/GoLang Software Developer to join a global IT organization specializing in internet security. The Software Developer will build portals to utilize internet security products.

Responsibilities for the Software Developer include:

• Collaborate with an Agile team to develop services and products
• Implement Unit Tests alongside code using TDD and BDD principles
• Leverage platform services such as API gateways, SQL and document-based databases, Kafka streams, Elasticsearch repositories, Redis, etc.
• Work in Linux on Amazon Web Services and Implement Go Microservices

Qualifications for the Software Developer include:

• 6+ Years of experience developing software and services at scale
• 3+ years using Go/Golang in a professional environment
• Experience with API Design, REST, and microservices
• Preferred: Kafka streams, Elasticsearch, and GraphQL

Compensation for the Software Developer includes:

• Salary Range: $165,000-185,000 – Hourly Pay: $75/hr - $85/hr **depending on experience**
