Golang Job: Software Engineer - Elasticsearch Specialist

Gigasearch is a consultancy focused on Elasticsearch, Opensearch and the ELK stack, based in San Francisco, CA. We're seeking remote developer with extensive Elasticsearch experience. This job is either full-time or part-time, depending on your ability and availability. The developer will work directly with our team and clients, providing the technical expertise to make our clients successful.

This position is fully remote, but requires US citizenship. We are unable to sponsor at this time.

The ideal applicant will have:

• Demonstrated experience with Elasticsearch and Opensearch (at least version 5.x)
• Experienced in at least one of the following programming languages: Javascript (Node.js), Python, Java, Ruby, Golang
• Ability to quickly get up to speed on a large legacy code base and deliver value
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote and globally distributed engineering team

Bonus points if you have:

• Demonstrated experience with AWS (EC2, S3, AWS Elasticsearch)
• Demonstrated experience with Elastic Cloud
• Experience with Kibana, Logstash, Beats (Metricbeat, Filebeat, etc)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $120.00 per hour
