Aquanow, a leading infrastructure and liquidity provider that enables institutional and enterprise use-cases for digital assets, is looking for a Software Developer In Test (SDET) to join our technology team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team and contribute to the development of a high-growth trading and technology company.In a SDET role, you will focus on the continuous improvement of our services by providing QA and developing test automation frameworks. You will be responsible for implementing, testing and monitoring our services and using best practices.You thrive in fast-paced environments and will be comfortable working both autonomously and as a team player. This role requires a willingness to immerse yourself in our technology and business, but does not require any prior expertise.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Write, execute and maintain a combination of manual and automated test suites to ensure high quality releases
  • Increase the automation of tasks and expand test coverage through both new and existing infrastructure
  • Integrate with CI infrastructure to establish a continuous build and test cycle
  • Be part of the agile team; help thoroughly define, plan and test each task that is part of the sprint
  • Manage QA and automation workflows to enable continuous improvement
  • Understand the business logic and implement integration tests
  • Build and maintain an automated test infrastructure for a multi-platform product that will be used to validate all aspects of product operation
Basic Requirements:
  • Experience with at least one programming language (JavaScript, Java, Golang)
  • Experience working with black/grey/white box testing
  • Good understanding of HTTP/REST endpoints
  • Creative, independent, self-motivated and quick to learn new technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Additional Requirements
  • Experience with Agile workflow - working with product owners defining, and refining user stories
  • Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development
  • Experience with Cypress, Postman
  • Experience working with AWS
  • Experience writing code in TypeScript
  • Experience with a scripting language (Python, Bash, Perl)
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated QA experience in an SDET or QAE role
  • Background in digital payment / financial industry
  • Interest in cryptocurrency / decentralized finance
