We’re looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our SRE team. We’re not looking for people who know all the answers; we want people who can create solutions.


What You’ll Do:

  • Deploy, administer, monitor, and optimize enterprise cloud applications and networks in AWS.
  • Write software to reduce toil and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Create process and deployment automation tools.
  • Develop tools to build, deploy, maintain, and monitor systems.
  • Participate in weekly on-call rotation to support our production systems.
  • Work collaboratively with architecture and development leads to understand requirements and support the implementation.
  • Work with development teams on prototyping and delivering high tech products against evil malware


Skills You’ll Need to Have:

  • Must be a fast learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
  • Must have an approachable personality, work well with others, and possess effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong scripting or software development skills and an eagerness to automate (Terraform, Python, GoLang, Ruby, Bash, etc.).
  • Good understanding of modern public cloud micro-services architectures.
  • Experience with container cluster scheduling & management, service mesh, and creating and deploying resources such as Helm charts and task definitions.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and how services are built, tested, and deployed.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Linux fundamentals, including networking, file systems, and security best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of git best practices.
  • Experience working alongside developers to troubleshot production application issues.
  • Demonstrated technical capabilities are a must, as are people skills. This position requires an ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • BA/BS Degree in Engineering Computer Science or equivalent developer education / experience.


Nice to Have Skills:

  • C2, ISO27001, SOX/ITGC, PCI, GDPR, FedRAMP experience.
  • Exposure to serverless cloud technologies
  • Experience with SLOs and SLIs
  • Experience with observability methods and distributed tracing technologies to provide clear developer visibility.
  • Cloud first mindset, DevOps culture.
  • Experience working in a team utilizing agile methodologies
  • AWS Professional Certifications
