Golang Job: Systems Developer

Tittle: Golang developer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Long term contract

Job Description

• Ability to write code and test cases.
• Strong GO, Java, Groovy and Javascript (one or more languages in that space). GO programming is primary (preferred language). Secondary is Java.
• Ability to conduct peer code reviews
• Repository skills (GIT, Restful Services, APIs)
• Knowledge of Databases (Mongo or relational SQL)
• Preferred: Infrastructure tooling (Nomad, Kubernetes, Chef, etc.)
• Automation mindset (Chef, Puppet, Anisble) – not top skill, but mix of development and automation skills. If someone is a Developer, they may not be using those tools. If someone is coming from a DevOps background, they are more likely to have those skills.
• Enhancing/adding Microservice to platform or integrating tooling
• Cloud environment: Docker used
• Specific industry experience not required; more technical than focuses on vertical

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• AWS: 1 year (Preferred)
• ASP.NET: 1 year (Preferred)
• APIs: 1 year (Preferred)
