SPARKET ( http://www.betsparket.com ) has created The Social Betwork™, a wagering platform built for the modern user. Our vision is to help businesses differentiate their product offering in the space to attract a broader demographic. We do this through our customizable platform, which focuses on wagering with your community rather than against the house and offering new bet and event types to underserved niches. We are poised to add a new layer to existing sportsbooks and help grow the pie for the sports betting industry in the US, which has exploded from 1 state to 34 states legal in the past 4 years.

We are seeking a full stack developer with a passion for startups. Initial focus will be part time, mostly frontend work, with potential for conversion to full time in the future. We can offer a competitive hourly rate, but will prioritize candidates who are sold on the vision of the company and are willing to take equity compensation.

Job Duties

• Own development from scratch of numerous features in our web application, with a focus on frontend JS.React
• Develop user account admin processes including account creation / login flows and federations with social media accounts
• Help with miscellaneous bugs and feature requests

Job Requirements

• Full-stack development background
• Ruby on Rails proficiency combined with Javascript React frontend capabilities
• SQL proficiency
• Familiarity with Oath2, Open ID, and AWS infrastructure
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Passion for working in a startup, wearing multiple hats and pitching in beyond strictly defined project areas

Preferred Job Requirements

• Experience working with serverless backend infrastructure and Golang
• Familiarity with social media integrations and login federations
• A passion for sports, gaming, and/or wagering
• A background in finance or markets

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
