Golang Job: Senior Software Engineer

If you’re a mid-senior level developer looking to contribute to a fast growing company, then this is a role for you. With flexibility on location, you’ll have the choice of working from or from an office depending on where you are.

You’ll be working with an ASX-listed company who build software for some of the biggest brands in the sporting and racing industries. You’ll develop white-label platforms, including websites and mobile apps, as well as cutting-edge widgets and data analytics tools.

You’re someone who is passionate about creating high quality, customer facing products. You will contribute across all stages of the SDLC as you help to design new, progressive applications and improve existing systems.

You’re someone who is language-agnostic and is unafraid to learn new things. You also bring with you prior experience working with cloud technologies i.e. GCP or AWS. You hold a ‘tinkerer’ mindset and if you find a better way of doing things, your team will be there to listen and support you.

If you’re located in Newcastle, Melbourne or Brisbane you’ll have the opportunity to work from CBD offices as well as from home. Otherwise, candidates in other locations will be considered with the chance to work remotely. Regardless of where you are, you’ll be encouraged to contribute your own ideas and improve processes as this brand continues to evolve and grow.

What you bring

• 
  Commercial experience working with at least ONE of the following: React, HTML, CSS, Typescript, React Native, Python, Node.js, Golang, PHP, Bash OR GraphQL
• An eagerness to learn new things and be challenged
• An understanding of CI/CD and experience with automated testing
