Golang Job: Back End Engineer

Job Title: Backend Engineer(PHP/GOLang)

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Remote 100%

Candidate will be responsible for the analysis of business, engineering, and scientific problems, and the documentation and development of well-defined methods, procedures, and programs in the delivery of practical systems solutions. The development will be on a web application that serves up advertising by radio stations. The current platform is old and "stitched" together with a mix of technologies over time (e.g. Front-end is React/PHP). The majority of the work involves adding/updating the backend services to support the new functionality being built. The majority of development (80%) will be in PHP with ~15% enhancing Go-Lang based APIs that provides Ad-Matching functionality. Finally, ~5% of the time could be spent in updating .NET based APIs that provides a wrapper layer which is leveraged for inter-system calls.

Responsibilities:

The following knowledge skills and attributes are required

• 2-3 years’ experience working with backend programming.

• PHP V7
• Go Lang
• .NET
• Experience working with Front end/React.
• Experience with version control, such as Git

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
