Project: a horizontal initiative that is data intensive and we're looking to build APIs, use AWS serverless components, and store data in two databases: relational databases as well as graph databases. They are dealing with customer data: legal entity details will be stored in Postgresql and relationships between entities will be stored in a graph database. Building the application from the ground up so need to build for high input/performance.

-Bigger initiative is database migration for their "Customer Master" DB. B2B data stores and applications that multiple commercial bank systems tap into. Currently, a vendor-based product that they're looking to rewrite in modern, open-source. Two phases: first need to replicate all functionality in new technologies (Postgres, AWS Neptune, Go, Lambdas), and second, extend features and functionality (Go and Java-based services)
Old: Oracle
New: PostGres/AWS Neptune (graph database)

Day-to-day: database migration work, API work, back-end services to do data validation (not ETL work)

Step 1: build using modern technologies
Step 2: extending features/functionality

Tech Stack Required:
- Java (2+ years)
- Go (1+ years) all serves are written in Golang
- Overall software engineering experience (8+ years)
- AWS

Nice to have:
- Angular/ReactJS
- Postgres
- DevOps
- AWS Neptune or other graph database experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
