- Provide support to the Monitoring tools and related deployment systems with automation in mind to deliver our Observability Platform.
- Help increase the overall reliability of our products and services.
- Create a bridge between Development and Operations by applying a software engineering mindset and SRE principles to System Administration topics.
- Collaborate closely with System Owners to ensure that requirements concerning.
- Observability (metrics, traces, logs, alerts, etc.) are part of the design of new systems.
- Provide meaningful data to stakeholders to perform analyses such as capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
- Creating/Meeting SLO/SLA requirements for the rest of the business.
- A good working knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python or Golang.
- Have experience with tools such as Bitbucket, GitLab, and GitHub.
- Automation – Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible or similar.
- Have hands-on experience on at least one of the following topics:
- Have experience with cloud infrastructures such as OpenStack, Amazon AWS or similar.
- A good understanding of the Linux environment like Centos, Red Hat or Fedora.
- Experience in hypervisors like Kubernetes, Docker or similar.
