CGD, the largest financial institution in Portugal, is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Lisbon.

Role:
Planning and definition of security requirements for Cloud architectures and services, implementation of security controls in Cloud environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and define security requirements for cloud architectures and services;
  • Implement and configure security controls in cloud environments, including authentication mechanisms, network security, data protection;
  • Identify security flaws in Cloud environment and propose fixes or mitigation controls;
  • Document Cloud implementations through technical documentation and run-books;
  • Design and define security architectures for hybrid systems implementation (on-prem and cloud).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Network and Computer Engineering or equivalent;
  • +5 years of experience in cybersecurity with strong knowledge of security architectures;
  • +3 years of experience in security implementations in Cloud environments.
  • Knowledge in the features of Protection for Cloud and Office 365;
  • Knowledge in the use of Cloud-based security brokers (e.g. CASB);
  • Mastery of cybersecurity, defence-in-depth and Zero-Trust concepts (e.g. Zscaler);
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Ruby, C++, Java, PHP, Javascript, ASP.NET, Golang, Node.js and Cloud service models (IaaS, SaaS and PaaS);
  • Knowledge of DevOps, namely in automation technologies such as Ansible, chef, puppet, docker, Jenkins;
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT operations, including Networking, Windows Administration, Linux/Unix Administration and Cloud Infrastructure;
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Portuguese and English;
  • Knowledge of Lean/Agile/DevSecOps principles.
  • Good analytical, critical sense, logical/structured reasoning and problem-solving skills with some complexity;
  • Willingness and commitment to adapt/propose solutions and overcome obstacles;
  • Ability to develop new ideas and implement creative solutions
  • A good relationship, communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary teams;
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Portuguese and English;
  • Ability to translate detailed technical concepts into meaningful metrics for top management.
