As a Senior Engineer, your role is to lead engineering work within ANZ Payments Reconciliations steam applications. This involves Design, develop and maintenance of enterprise TLM reconciliations application. As a senior member play the chapter lead role to manage junior engineers.
Good Knowledge to TLM application, Reconciliation process, tech design skills is a must.
Exposure to Cloud and cloud adoption. Experience of deploying on AWS and GCP.
Devops skills and implementation with automation will be an added advantage.
As an Engineer, you need to actively engage in the whole lifecycle (inception, design, development, testing, deployment, operation, monitoring and refinement) of systems and services.
You will enforce strong TLM delivery skills and implement best practices that align to the tribe vision. You will support delivery excellence in the area of API development and frameworks.
Bringing to life your vision for the expertise of the Chapter, monitoring and driving capability development
Contributing expertise to support the realisation of squad and tribe missions
Pushing the boundaries of expertise to innovate, test & learn and experiment
Continuously developing expertise and staying up-to-date with emerging trends, practices and information in area of expertise and more broadly
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role you will ideally bring the following:
Certifications (if required)
Java, Oracle, AWS, Tosca, Payments
Essential skills
Expertise on TLM product and integration
Good hand on experience in Java, Linux and scripting
Strong Database skills including Oracle, SQL, Postgres
Experience with solutioning on Solaris, Linux, WAS, Jboss. Openshift
Integration skills using MQ, C: D, Kafka
One or more of: Python, Perl, Java, GoLang or C along with shell scripting.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS). Strong implementation experience on AWS
Experience with Splunk, New Relic specifically around monitoring, measuring and maintaining availability and health of our infrastructure and platform.
Ability to manage incidents/problems, apply fixes and resolve systematic issues; triage issues with stakeholders and identify and implement solutions to restore productivity
Leading teams and driving outcomes working with teams across geography
Desired skills
Extensive experience with software engineering practices including CI/CD, Automated testing and Performance Engineering
Experience in creating pipeline via Codefresh
Deploying Infra as code using Terraform
Enterprise platform experience with a high volume of transactions / users
Exposure to reconciliation domain
Containerisation (Docker), Container management Platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, GKE etc.) and CI/CD activities
Relevant Experiences
8-10 years development and delivery experience with 2-3 years specific TLM experience
Soft Skills
