Golang Job: Entry Level Devops Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a broad range of technical skills in DevOps. In this hands-on role, this candidate would provide quality solutions and support for our existing and future infrastructure needs as well as being a team player who is not above any job thrown their way.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation, and interpersonal skills focused on motivation and positive attitude.
• Demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working with different members of the team.
• Provide solutions through all aspects of the development team’s IT operations and SDLC.
• Research and provide innovative solutions on existing and future infrastructure and processes.
• Be responsible for software releases, configuration, monitoring and support of all production system components and infrastructure.
• Provide a basic understanding of multiple AWS services.
• Provide a basic understanding of CI/CD best practices and be comfortable building out custom deployment pipelines for a variety of micro services.
• Be able to debug and diagnose infrastructure issues in various environments.
• Build out monitoring and alerting dashboards and tools for various pieces of our infrastructure and features.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle models and, in particular, Agile.

Preferred Requirements:

• Build and manage Terraform workflows.
• Have a strong knowledge of AWS services including Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, RDS, OpenSearch Service, Elastic Kubernetes Provider (EKS), EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CloudFront, Elasticach.
• Demonstrate an ability to learn and quickly grasp different programming languages including Nodejs, Golang, Python, SQL…
• Knowledge of PCI DSS processes, encryption, and security standards.
• Have a solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration and how to manage upgrades to various pieces of the cluster and its platform supporting applications.
