ABOUT THE JOB

OptioPay is working on an exciting greenfields customer facing product. We need you to build an awesome app together. Open Banking data plays a big role in our future, and we are very excited to work with you to ensure that customers everywhere are finally rewarded financially for the data that they generate in their day to day lives. You will be part of the machine-learning team, and will have the opportunity to explore different data-related surfaces: protype and evaluate ML models, create APIs to consume and persist data, improve your data-wrangling for preprocessing and data storage, analyze real-life financial datasets to create metrics that reveal insights to understand better our customers.

YOUR ROLE

• You will protoype and evaluate machine learning models both locally and on the cloud.
• You will prepare datasets to be ready to be consumed by statistical models.
• You will create and extend our data ingestion APIs.
• You will maintain and enrich our graph database.
• You will analyze large financial datasets to retrieve metrics and to build models to infer customer insights.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• You have passion and great interest in building a career in Data Science / Software Engineering.
• You are studying a bachelor or master's degree in Computer engineering / Computer science, Data Science, or other related quantitative fields.
• You have very good programming skills; Python and Golang are preferred but any proven record at other languages will work as well.
• You have completed projects that involve data preprocessing or data analysis.
• You have fundamental knowledge in computer science.
• Experience with Git, Docker, Postgres are preferred.
• You are a team player, proactive and have a strong capacity to work independently on mission critical tasks.
